'Simmental' Original Canvas
About Artwork: Ireland is famous for its lush green pastures, and our boutique 'Coosane Farm' definitely is surrounded by many of them. When creating 'Simmental' I chose to paint this with a cool colour scheme, working with hues of blues and soft green pastels with splashes of pink. Reflecting on myself and working the paint onto the canvas, I wanted to work her shadows in shades of deep blues. Blending a series of colours (blues with yellow ochre) I was able to achieve her fabulous coat which then leads your eye back to her pale face. I introduced flowers into this piece to create interest and I loved the results. The painting is unframed, come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
