Creating Art on the Farm in Coosane

Updated: Oct 7, 2020

Life as we know it has dramatically changed since March 2020, due to the world wide Covid-19 pandemic.

In the beginning stages of this pandemic, it gave me time for reflection on who I am as an Artist and Textile's creator, it has led me to explore and develop my own creativity giving me time to breath. This has also allowed me to assess and improve on my own practices developing and creating unique country style art for myself and others. Developing new ways to extend from my original works into fun and innovative collectable homewares.

This development has been a process of love and affection for my home, farm and village of Coosane, Birdhill, County Tipperary, Ireland.

Below is a photograph of my beautiful daughter Chloé and I, wearing one of my first creations 'Friesian' Tee, created from an original art work hand painted acrylic on paper, developed into an organic 100% cotton commercial tee. These can be purchased from my shop. Pop over and have a look, they come in a range of sizes to suit most, small through to Xlarge. It would make a great addition to your wardrobe.
