Free Introductory on 'How to Paint Your Halloween Pumpkin' Workshop

A practical step-by-step exercise and learn how to paint a pumpkin for Halloween.

 

This year I wanted to switch it up and design something different for the spooky 'All Saints' Day' (better known as Halloween).

There’s no better way to get into the spirit of Halloween then by decorating an iconic pumpkin, that's why I put together this fun project for kids to create. Follow the tutorial and try adding a fun and sparkly touch to your scary designed DIY pumpkin this season.

 

1. Materials you will need to get started:

 

• A Pumpkin

• Any coloured glitter (I used glitter glue). This can be purchased at most stationary shops. Otherwise add PVA glue first over the painted area and sprinkle on the glitter. (Useful Tips make sure you have newspaper under the Pumpkin first before applying)

• Acrylic paints in various colours

• Paint brushes various sizes

• Black waterproof marker

• Hair dryer helps to dry in-between faster then air drying (Useful tip when painting with kids)
